Neighbourhood Policing

Thames Valley Neighbourhood Policing teams work together with the local community and partners to prevent and reduce crime and disorder, improve neighbourhood conditions and feelings of security.

They aim to make communities safer through an approach that is focused on visibility, engagement, problem solving and community resilience. 

Teams are led by senior police officers and include police officers, police community support officers (PCSOs), police staff, police support volunteers and the special constabulary.

Each Neighbourhood Policing team create a quarterly newsletter to help update residents. The newsletters include upcoming events, crime reduction advice, offenders brought to justice and much more. You can view your neighbourhoods quarterly newsletter in the Downloads section on this page below.
