Review of Parish Councils - Denham, Farnham Royal and Stoke Poges

South Bucks District Council is carrying out a review of parish councils in Denham, Farnham Royal and Stoke Poges.

The review will be focusing on council size; the number of councillors to be elected to the council, and warding arrangements; the number, size and naming of electoral wards.

The review of the community governance arrangements for the three parishes is taking place following requests received from the parish councils involved.

Any recommendations the Council makes will seek to improve community engagement and better local democracy which will result in more effective and convenient delivery of local services.

As part of the review, we are conducting a public consultation which started  Monday 3 September and will run until Friday 12 October 2018.

At this stage of the review the Council is seeking local electors and other interested parties to submit their views.

This may include comments on the existing community governance arrangements, or any proposals for change.

Interested members of the public are encouraged to visit our website to find all the information regarding the review and how to submit their views.

All submissions, views and comments will be considered by the Council's Governance and Electoral Arrangements Committee (G&EA Committee) which is responsible for considering community governance matters.
