Search of Register

LLC 1
This search is of entries in the Local Land Charges Register only and is submitted on form LLC 1. Form LLC 1 is an official request to the Council for a search of the Register to be carried out. A fee is payable for this search (see section on fees for details).

Full Search
A full search comprises a form LLC 1 accompanied by a questionnaire called CON29. The CON29 form contains standard questions and enquiries about supplementary information held by a local authority which would be useful to a prospective purchaser of property. The information for the reply comes from various Council departments and Bucks County Council in respect of highway information. In addition to the 57 standard questions on the CON29, there are additional optional (Part 2) enquiries which may be submitted, for which an additional fee is payable.

Personal Search
Alternatively, anyone may make a personal search of the Local Land Charges Register on payment of the fee by attending at the Council Offices. To carry out a personal search you should call for an appointment. A plan of the land or property to be searched must be submitted in advance (eg by FAX - FAX No. 01895 837346).
