Food Premises Registration

To store, prepare, distribute or sell food, premises will need to be registered as a food business with your home local authority.

Most types of food business including catering businesses run from home and mobile or temporary premises, such as market stalls and vans, will need to register.

A business with two or more premises will need to register each of them separately. If food premises are used by several catering businesses (for example, a village hall or conference centre), then the person who allows the premises to be used for this purpose is responsible for registering them.

Registration is simple you can download a registration form below, which can be completed and emailed, faxed or posted to the environmental health department at the Council. Alternatively, you can register online by completing a
form and submitting it to us at Environment@southbucks.gov.uk.
