Under the New Licensing Act, all holders of a personal licence musthave an accredited qualification by the second appointed day – inNovember. Those who currently do not hold an accredited qualification,but wish to apply for a personal licence can obtain an accreditedqualification from the BIIAB – an award body of qualifications for theLicensed Retail Sector.
