South Bucks District Council provides a property boundary refuse and recycling collection service. Around one fifth of properties in the district have been given wheelie bins as part of a trial. Paper/card and glass/cans are collected every fortnight. Refuse must be securely bagged and recyclable items left in the appropriate boxes by 7am on the day of collection and no earlier than the night before. An assisted collection service is available for the elderly or infirm.
It is also responsible for litter picking and mechanical sweeping of adopted roads and footpaths. The Council also runs various recycling initiatives including the provision of mini-recycling sites and discounted compost bins. Please contact the office on 01895 837362 for more details.
