Purpose of group
Wycombe Women’s Aid provides support to women and children experiencing the effects of domestic violence by offering:
  • Refuge – safe, temporary and emergency accommodation as well as practical and emotional support.
  • 24 hour helpline
  • Child Development Service – for children living in the refuge and therapeutic children’s group within the community.
  • Training and Awareness raising
  • Outreach service – counselling, one to one support and group work. Freedom programme, IDVA service, dedicated service for Asian women as well as finding refuge space for local women and children throughout Great Britain.
