Anchor Staying Put

Have you been a victim of crime or feel vulnerable to crime…? Are you are in need of a door chain, door viewer, door lock, window lock, and outside light amongst other useful home safety tools?

Anchor LogoWorking in Partnership with Thames Valley Police and South Bucks District Council, Anchor Staying Put operates the largest number of regional Home Improvement Agencies across England. Their aim is to provide advice and practical help with improvements, repairs and adaptations to properties to enable older and disabled people to remain living in their own homes for as long as it suits them.

At South Bucks District Council, we appreciate that it can sometimes be daunting trying to find reliable help when there are major or minor jobs to be done around your home or garden. Whether it’s a dripping tap, a wobbly shelf, a grab rail, or something more substantial like a level-access shower, a new central heating system or a full scale home extension, we can offer advice and practical solutions to help you through the process of having work carried out in your home from beginning to end.

The main priority of Anchor is to ensure that you receive the best possible service with the minimum of worry and disruption.
