Current ASBOs

An ASBO is Anti-Social Behaviour Order. It is an order made by the court, which is designed to tackle persistent and serous anti-social behaviour (ASB). Contained in the order will be a list of prohibitions. For example:

  • No to enter shops or premises without the means to pay
  • Not to consume alcohol in public places
  • Not to use threatening behaviour
  • Not to ride in the front seat of a motor vehicle
  • Prohibitions surrounding the nature of ASB committed for each person on an individual basis
ASBOs can also be used to ban activity that is not in itself criminal, such as begging or even playing football.

Breaching an ASBO constitutes a criminal offence and would therefore lead to prosecution and possibility imprisonment. To report a breach of the above ASBOs please contact:
