We recognise how important community organisations are in providing services to our District.
The Subscriptions and Donations Grant
is designed to help organisations continue the important work they do for residents. This grant is to help towards the general running costs but cannot be used to purchase equipment.
The grant isn't only open to organisations that are based in the District, but also to those outside the area but whose activities and functions benefit our residents.
As you can imagine there are a large number of groups who apply to this fund each year. Currently the total we allocate each year from this fund is around £23,000. For your organisation to benefit you will need to demonstrate how it helps our District, the number of residents, businesses or groups who might benefit and how you feel it helps to meet the underlying aims of our Sustainable Community Strategy.
The Subscription and Donations Grants are normally allocated once a year, in February/March. This is so that organisations can be notified of funding ahead of the financial year so that they can plan their activities for the coming year. The closing date is 5pm on 24th
January 2014. If you would like to receive a Subscription and Donation Grant form, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
