Local Code of Conduct Complaints Process
SBDC Code of Conduct can be found in part 5 of the Constitution Changes to the complaints procedureFrom 8 May 2008 the responsibility for considering complaints that a member may have breached the Code of Conduct moved to the standards committees of local authorities.
What this means to youIf you wish to complain about the conduct of a member of South Bucks District Council or a member of one of our parish or town councils, you must submit your complaint using the complaint form below

A complaint can be submitted by fax or email using the complaint form below. Please download the Word version if you wish to complete your form electronically and then email or post it to us. The PDF version can be downloaded and used to complete the form by hand so that you can post it to us.

Email: monitoringofficer@southbucks.gov.ukThe assessment sub-committee of our Standards Committee will initially consider complaints however it can only deal with complaints about the behaviour of a member. It will not deal with complaints about things that are not covered by the members' Code of Conduct. If you make a complaint it must be about why you think a member has not followed the Code of Conduct.
