Not in My Neighbourhood Week
It's already one of the safest places in Britain - and crime prevention agencies in Buckinghamshire are working hard to keep it that way.
'Not in My Neighbourhood' week - November 2nd to 6th - focuses on residents joining forces with local agencies to say "no" to crime and antisocial behaviour- as well as environmental issues such as litter and graffiti The week is being supported by the Bucks Community Safety Partnership who want to highlight the work they are doing to tackle crime and keep communities safe.
The partnership is distributing posters around the county, asking for local people to propose something they; could do, be involved in, or would like to see happen in their neighbourhoods, during this week. This is to support work around the national, 'We Asked, You Said, We Did' campaign. All you need to do is contact your local district community safety team and make a suggestion. It's all about residents having a say in how they want their local neighbourhoods improved and shaped in the future.
