Council Published Information

The Coalition Government has set out as one of its cornerstones of policy that local authorities should make more information about their activities available to the public. This is because they believe local scrutiny is a more effective mechanism of holding authorities to account and demonstrate value for money than national inspection and reporting regimes which cannot take properly into account local circumstances and priorities.

In supporting this national initiative the Council is now bringing together in this section of its website, information that the public may find informative and they can download this information for their personal use. The Council believes in trying to be open about its activities as far as its resources will reasonably allow.

For what we will publish:

  • We will aim to publish up dated information on a quarterly basis, except where the information is only collected on an annual basis.
  • Where the information comprises data sets these will be provided in .csv or .xls formats
The information is provided on a free and open basis under the terms of the Open Government Licence. (This link will take you away from South Bucks website).

If you would like to make any comments about the information published, or suggest additional data sets that might be useful to publish, please email published.information@southbucks.gov.uk

If you would like more detail than is provided here, then these will be dealt with as an FOI request.
