The Electoral Services Office is responsible for electoral registration and administering all elections and referenda within the district of South Bucks. We also assist with the review and implementation of Local and Parliamentary Boundary changes.

We aim to give every resident in the district an opportunity to have their say at district, parish, local, national, European elections and referenda if they are eligible, and to provide advice to all residents about their right to vote. We will do this by canvassing every household on a yearly basis to compile an accurate register of electors.

South Bucks District is covered by the Beaconsfield constituency, which also takes in some parts of the Wycombe district. Beaconsfield is represented by one MP, Dominic Grieves, who was elected in the last parliamentary election.

South Bucks District is divided into 19 wards; represented by 40 district councillors. These councillors are elected in district elections, the last one being held on 5 May 2011. For a list of wards and councillors details, please visit the Councillors pages.The next scheduled elections in the district will be the district and parish elections on 7 May 2015.

The 2012 Annual Canvass will take place between July and October. The revised Register will be published on the 16 October. This is in preparation for the Police and Crime Commissioner elections on the 15 November 2012. If there are no changes to the pre-printed elector details on the form, you can register by telephone via a Freephone number (only during the canvass period) or register by internet. Full instructions are on the form. At any other time, except during the annual canvass period, you can register using a voter registration form, obtainable from the Electoral Services Office.
