Chairman's Community and Volunteering Reception

Each year the Chairman hosts a Community & Volunteering Awards Reception which is held in the autumn to thank and recognise individuals or groups for their outstanding work for the community. Local organisations and volunteers are invited to the reception which includes an awards ceremony where the contribution of individuals and groups who support the communities and residents of South Bucks District is recognised and applauded.

Along with nominees, guests at the reception include a wide range of people who work in the Community within South Bucks, volunteers and voluntary and community event organisers as well as local councillors.

DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE OR A GROUP WHICH DESERVES TO BE PUBLICLY THANKED AND RECOGNISED FOR THEIR COMMUNITY ACHIEVEMENT? IF SO, YOU CAN SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION ON-LINE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. ALL RECEIVED NOMINATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED IN SEPTEMBER AND THE CHAIRMAN’S COMMUNITY & VOLUNTEERING RECEPTION TAKING PLACE IN OCTOBER/NOVEMBER.
