South Bucks Partnership

The South Bucks Partnership is made up of representatives from the private, public and voluntary and community sectors. It has an important role in encouraging community leadership, working together to deliver new initiatives and effective and efficient delivery of local services. The South Bucks Partnership provides a strong collective voice for the many organisations involved in delivering services for the people of South Bucks. It operates at a level which enables strategic decisions to be taken and allows action to be determined at a local level.

The South Bucks Partnership oversees the delivery of the South Bucks Sustainable Community Strategy which contains a vision for improving the quality of life for all those who live, work or visit the district. It is based on the things you have said are important to you. Things like making people feel safer, improving health, increasing community spirit, and protecting the environment. Residents and local organisations were involved in preparing this strategy and we review it with them on a regular basis to ensure it continues to reflect their needs and aspirations. In it, we suggest the key issues for the area, some of which are already being tackled. In cases where there are gaps partners consider how we might work together to add real value to deliver lasting benefits to the people of South Bucks. By working together, we make the best use of time, effort and money.

So please read on to find out what is happening to tackle the issues local people are concerned about and to read our suggestions for what we should do between now and 2026. We do not pretend that this plan is perfect and we know we are not tackling every issue that has been raised. We really want to hear your views on it - whether we are dealing with the most important things in the right way and whether you have any ideas for other things that our partnership could be doing. We hope that you will play a part in helping to shape your District and your future and we welcome your feedback on how well we are doing.
