Council Tax Payment Options

Direct Debit is the easiest way for you to pay your Council Tax.  The benefits are:

  • You do not have to queue at payment offices.
  • You do not have any cheques to write.
  • There are no standing orders to renew.
  • It is a lot safer than cash.
  • It’s also cheaper and easier for the Council to administer and this helps to keep Council Tax bills down.

If you have not paid your Council Tax by Direct Debit in the past, why not start now. Print off the Direct Debit form then complete (making sure to include your Council Tax Account Reference Number, which can be found on your Council Tax bill) and return to the Council Offices at the address given on the form.
