South Bucks Building Control Services ensures that your community is provided with a healthy and safe built environment. Our service is friendly, flexible, publicly accountable, impartial, and offers a consultancy that helps our customers achieve quality in building.

South Bucks Building Control Service is Quality Assured to ISO 900I: 2000. We are committed to providing a positive, responsive, customer orientated service, which is efficient, effective and good value for money.

South Bucks Building Control Services provides awareness and advice for the access for the disabled.

South Bucks Building Control Services deal with dangerous structures effectively and speedily and ensures demolitions are carried out correctly.

Aims and Targets
We aim to:

  • Provide a professional and fully qualified team.
  • Make obtaining Building Regulation Approval straightforward.
  • Give impartial advice and guidance before you make an application & give advice and guidance as work proceeds.
  • Inspect work on site for compliance with the Building Regulations & make site inspections at times to suit your work programme.
  • Respond quickly to Dangerous Structure reports and demolition notices.
  • Issue a Completion Certificate on satisfactory completion of the work.
  • Provide a helpline to answer your queries and take your messages.
  • Provide a highly professional service founded on quality, impartiality, and best value.
  • Issue a decision on your application speedily.
  • Provide advice on the access for the disabled.

Our commitment:

  • Provide written acknowledgement of receipt of your application within 2 working days
  • Examination of all applications within 10 working days. 
  • Site visits undertaken on the same day if you contact us before 10.00 a.m.
  • Conditional Approvals available if required.
  • We will send out a questionaire to the customer with the completion certificate and take them into account.
  • Provide a 24 hour site inspection hotline service
  • Our professional and fully qualified team will help wherever possible and comply with the council's customer care standards regarding response times, courtesy, fairness and equal opportunities

Monday - Wednesday 9.00 a.m. - 5.30 p.m.
Thursday - Friday 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
Weekend - CLOSED
