Doing Your Bit.

smoke from heavy vehicles image

Help Buckinghamshire Breathe-report smokey vehicles.
Vehicle pollution is the biggest single threat to air quality in the county, and there is widespread agreement that more must be done to target polluting vehicles.

No vehicle (petrol or diesel) needs to smoke badly - those that do are out of tune or require maintenance. South Bucks District Council encourage their residents to be 'smoke spotters' and report polluting vehicles.

The public can help to reduce emissions by reporting vehicles to The Vehicle Inspectorate who will contact the vehicle operator and investigate the report.
