Local Development Scheme

This is the fourth Local Development Scheme (LDS) for South Bucks District. It sets out the documents that will be progressed in the South Bucks Local Development Framework (LDF) in the period 2010-13, along with their timetables. Preparation of the Local Development Scheme is a mandatory requirement under the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended).

The Local Development Scheme sets out:
  • A brief description of all of the Development Plan Documents (DPDs) that will be prepared and the areas to which they will relate.
  • How the different DPDs relate to each other, in particular the Core Strategy.
  • The timetable for producing DPDs, including the timings for the key milestones.
The Local Development Scheme 2010 can be downloaded below. It superseded the LDS that was approved in March 2007.
