I cannot afford to pay my Council Tax, what should I do?
Please contact us immediately to discuss the matter. If your savings are less than £16,000 and you are on a low income you may be entitled to help in paying your Council Tax. This is called Council Tax Benefit. As this can normally only be given from the Monday following receipt of your application you should contact us as soon as possible.
