Can I change the payment date of my monthly instalments for Council Tax?
You can change your payment date only if you pay by Direct Debit. The date will always be the same each month and we offer 3 options: the 1st, 11th and 21st of each month. Direct Debit payers are usually able to pay their Council Tax in instalments over a maximum of 10 months, April to January. If you do not pay by Direct Debit you will need to pay your Council Tax on the first day of each month, April to January. Please contact us on 01895 837500 to change your direct debit instructions. You will need your Council Tax account number and bank details. The details of the direct debit scheme are shown on your bill.
