This service is managed by Paradigm Housing on behalf of South Bucks District Council.
The Council has set Service Standards you can expect to receive from Paradigm Housing in this area of work.
You are considered to be homeless if, for example:
Some people qualify for emergency accommodation and re-housing, others are given help and advice to prevent their homelessness, explore other options, or find another home.
If after making a homeless application you are unhappy with the outcome you can ask, in writing, for the Council to review the decision.
Right of Review
The Housing Act 1996 gives you the right to request a review of the Council's decision on your homelessness application. Any request for a review must be made to the Council in writing within 21 days of receiving the decision letter and addressed to Sean Hughes Housing Strategy Manager, South Bucks District Council, Capswood, Oxford Road, Denham, Bucks. UB9 4LH.
If you require independent advice you can contact SHELTER, 21 Church Street, Slough. Tel. no. 01753 691844, The Citizens Advice Bureau, or a solicitor.
