Housing Strategy, Research and Consultation

South Bucks District Council is the body responsible for housing policy and strategy in the District, balancing national and regional policies with local needs. To do this it is necessary to carry out research, monitor and map needs, respond to changes in legislation and take a pro-active role in preventing homelessness. It also takes the lead role in partnership working with other housing providers and housing advice agencies and regularly consults with services users incorporating the feedback into future service reviews.
