Council Tax - how to pay

Payment of your council tax can be made in a number of different ways:

By Direct Debit
Payment of Direct Debit can be made by a maximum of 12 instalments. You have a choice of three different payment dates: 1st, 11th or 21st of the month. Direct Debit is the preferred method of the Council as it is the cheapest and the most cost efficient way to pay. You can set-up a Direct Debit securely now by visiting our self service page.

Website Payments
You can make a payment over the internet - On-line payments

Telephone Payments
You can make an automated payment over the telephone with your debit card by ringing 01895 837525.

Internet Banking

Payments should be made to Sort Code 20-74-12 Account Number 03011437 quoting the 7 digit Council Tax reference number shown on your bill

Post Office

Note - From 1 April 2015 customers will no longer be able to make payments over the Post Office Counter

By cheque
Please make cheques payable to South Bucks District Council and send directly to Revenues Section, Capswood, Oxford Road, Denham, Bucks, UB9 4LH

Instalments are due on or before the 1st of each month.
