The Council has two groups that are specifically designed for either people already retired or those approaching retirement age:
The Burnham Over 60's 'Out & About' group meets every Tuesday from 12.30 - 2.30pm at the Burnham Park Hall, Windsor Lane Burnham.
The Iver and Denham Over 60's 'Out & About' group meets every Wednesday from 12.30 - 2.30pm at the Evreham Sports Centre, Swallow Street, Iver
Along with a door-to-door minibus service both clubs offer activities ranging from movement to music, skittles, pub lunches, walks in the country, shopping trips (including Christmas). On the days where the group stay indoors refreshments are provided and it is a good chance to socialise and catch up with what is happening in the area. Itineries are provided and the groups have regular opportunities to have a say in which activities are provided. There is a small charge of £2.50 per week which helps towards running costs.
