Easter Games in the Park Poster
South Bucks District Council’s ‘Games in the Park’ is back, our popular Olympic themed FREE events is bigger and better this Easter and will include an exciting variety of sports and arts activities. Leading on from the fantastic year of sport last year, this is an opportunity to try new sports and activities.

This Easter, South Bucks District Council has teamed up with its leisure partner, ‘Better’ who will be supporting the, ‘Inspired in the park’ challenge day at Holtpsur Recreation Ground. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in exciting challenges such as basketball, athletics, badminton and football to name just a few.

Sports activities will be running all day from 10am to 3pm and arts activities will be running between 11am and 2pm.

  • Tuesday 2nd of April Iver Recreation Ground
  • Wednesday 3rd April Beaconsfield - Holtspur Recreation Ground
  • Thursday 4th April Gerrards Cross - West Common
  • Friday 5th April Burnham Park
Games in the Park is for children and young people aged between 6-16 years, please note children under eight must be accompanied by an adult.

No need to book – just turn up!

Active Zones

Evreham Sports Centre and the Beacon Centre both run active zones during the school holidays. Evreham Sports Centre caters for children aged 8 to 12 and the Beacon Centre caters for children aged 5 to 12. These activities run every day of the holidays throughout the year, so parents have no need to worry about their children getting bored during the holidays. Activities vary so contact Evreham Sports Centre on 01753 672610, the Beacon Centre on 01494 677764.
