Simply Walks

We all know the benefits of getting some fresh air during a nice invigorating walk; you can unwind, enjoy the scenery and generally relax. But that's not all, walking has a number of significant health benefits, for example, reducing blood pressure, improving flexibility and losing weight.

South Bucks District Council supports a county-wide initiative called Simply Walks which provides over thirty short walks attended by approximately 500 people. Eight walks are situated in South Bucks with starting points in Taplow, Dorney, Burnham and Black Park in Wexham.

The duration of the walks varies from 45 minutes for an easy stroll up to 90 minutes for a moderately strenuous hike. 'Buggy walks' are also included in Burnham enabling mums to exercise whilst caring for their children.
