Where is it taking place?
The Olympic Torch Relay will help shine a light on the whole of the UK – and is being carried through more than 1,000 cities, towns and villages in the UK.
The Flame comes through South Bucks on day 53 of its 63-day journey as it travels from Oxford to Reading. It makes it first appearance on
Tuesday 10th July 2012 at approximately 11.39 for a ticket only event at Dorney Lake (Eton Dorney Lake). Then it will leave Dorney Lake in Convoy Mode but changing to Torch Bearer at 12.29 at Taplow Sainsbury to be carried along the A4. At 12.33 the Torch leaves South Bucks as it moves into Slough.
On
Tuesday 24th July at 16.06 torch bearers will be carrying the Torch along A412 in Denham heading to a private event at Broadwater Park. There will be a return journey to Denham Station, with a change to Convoy Mode when the Torch will head out of the District heading to Ealing.
