The Beacon Centre is a small friendly facility owned by South Bucks District Council. The day to day operation of the Sport Centre is managed by Better formally known as Nexus Community on behalf of the Council.

The Sports Centre is based in Beaconsfield, which is in the northwest of the District. The centre's facilities include a multi purpose sports hall, sunbed, grass area and 'state of the art' fully air-conditioned fitness suite. The fitness suite contains many pieces of fitness equipment designed to be accessible to those persons with limited mobility. In addition, there is a 209 seat fully equipped theatre, which is available to hire by both amateur and professional theatre groups - it is also ideal for organisations wishing to hold conferences and seminars.

The Beacon Centre offers a wide range of high quality instructor led classes and sessions every week and an activity programme operates for children during most school holidays.
