Chillin' in the Park Returns for Some Free Easter Fun

South Bucks local parks will once again host Chillin’ in the Park over the Easter holidays, with a variety of FREE sports and arts activities on offer to keep young people entertained.

South Bucks District Councillor Anita Cranmer, Portfolio Holder for Community says; “Chillin’ in the Park offers a fantastic opportunity for youngsters across the district to get involved in a variety of different activities, keeping them entertained and active over the holiday period.”

The events are FREE and open to children aged 6 to 16 years (under 8s must be accompanied by an adult), with no need to book, just turn up! South Bucks District Council Staff will provide a range of sports activities including; kwik cricket, football, tag rugby, tennis and rounders, with a Nexus Community Play Ranger on hand to join in with the fun. In addition, an artist will be present at each venue, with Easter themed arts and crafts, Street Dance and life sized portraits on offer over the course of the week.

All events will be taking place this April. Sports activities will run from 10am to 3pm, while the arts activities will run from 11am to 2pm:

Monday 11th  - Denham - Martin Baker Sports Club
Tuesday 12th  -  Iver Recreation Ground
Wednesday 13th - Stoke Poges – Bell’s Hill Recreation Ground
Thursday 14th - Farnham Park Playing Fields
Friday 15th - Burnham Park
