Easter Fun for Young People with Disabilities
Two fantastic fun activity courses for young people with disabilities have been organised during the Easter Holidays by the Sports Development Team at South Bucks District Council. Firstly, there are four multi-skills days for young people aged 7-13 running on the 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th April. The sessions will run from 10am to 1pm at the Curzon Centre on Maxwell Road in Beaconsfield and will cost £8 per day.
The second course is a free horse riding taster session for 7 – 17 year olds at the Riding for the Disabled Centre on Framewood Road in Fulmer on Thursday 21st April. Riders will be allocated a 35-45 minute time slot during the 12-3pm session.
South Bucks District Councillor Anita Cranmer, portfolio holder for Community, says, ‘It is great to be able to offer exciting new activities such as these two courses which are specifically for young people with disabilities’.
Application forms supplied by the Council are required to be completed before children can participate. Parents are advised that places are limited for both courses, for more details or to book contact the Sports Development Team on 01895 837348 or email
