Sports Clubs in and around South Bucks are invited to attend a ‘Funding & Fundraising Opportunities’ workshop on Thursday 10th November from 6.30 to 10pm at Burnham Upper School.
The workshop, provided by Bucks Sport in association with South Bucks District Council, supplies community sports clubs with practical advice and ideas on raising money for club projects and how best to access the available grants and other funding opportunities.
District Councillor Anita Cranmer, Portfolio Holder for Community, said, “It is vital in the current financial climate for local community sports clubs to be given as much information on funding opportunities in order they can continue their valuable work in the community”.
The costs for the course are £10 for individuals from a Clubmark (or equivalent) accredited club within Buckinghamshire; £15 for individuals that live in, or are members of a club within, the county or £20 for individuals that live outside the county.
