October Half Term Fun 

‘Games in the Park’ is back for October Half Term! South Bucks District Council is pleased to bring back this popular Olympic themed FREE event for the young people of South Bucks.

South Bucks District Councillor Anita Cranmer, Portfolio Holder for Community says “As a host authority for London 2012 Games, we are delighted to be able run ‘Games in the Park’ during October half term following on from its amazing success over the summer. With less than a year to go to the Olympics, we aim to encourage even more young people to take part in sport and this is a great opportunity to get inspired and try out exciting sports such as athletics, football, hockey and tag rugby.’’

‘Games in the Park’ is open to children and young people aged 6 to 16 years (under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult). What better way to beat that holiday boredom!

Games in the Park will be running over half term in a location near you from 10am to 3pm so just turn up, there is no need to book… and it’s FREE!

Burnham Park on Monday 24th October.
West Common, Gerrards Cross on Tuesday 25th October
Farnham Park Playing Fields on Wednesday 26th October
Holtspur Recreation Ground on Thursday 27th October
