Holiday Fun With Riding For The Disabled

A new summer holiday riding course for young people with disabilities, aged up to 18 years, has been organised by South Bucks District Council’s Sports Development Team at the South Bucks Riding for the Disabled Centre in Fulmer.

The course of five 1 hour sessions starts on Tuesday 26th July from 10am. Ideally suited to novice riders, the course is provided by expert tutors at the same Centre which trained Gold Medal Paralympian Sophie Christianson.

South Bucks District Councillor Anita Cranmer, Portfolio Holder for Community, said, “This course follows on from a pilot taster course that was set up by the Sports Development Team at Easter and from which the Council were delighted to receive excellent feedback from children and their parents”.

Although the course costs £20 individual sessions can be booked for £4, please note booking is essential; parents are advised to book early on the course as there are a limited number of spaces.
