Sport Relief Mile Coming To Iver

Sport Relief is one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events which brings the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives.

Registration is now open and you can book your place on the Sport Relief website, places are limited so register early to avoid disappointment. The mile will be taking place at the Evreham Sports Centre in Iver on Sunday 25th March.

The Sport Relief Mile is an event open to anyone, regardless of ability or age, that offers the opportunity to run, walk, jog one, three or six miles. Many runners jazz up the run by wearing fancy dress or by completing the one mile in a three legged fashion with a friend or family member!

South Bucks District Councillor, Anita Cranmer, Portfolio Holder for Community commented on the impact South Bucks residents could make, “The Evreham Sports Centre Sport Relief Mile is a brilliant opportunity to get fit and have fun at the same time. I'd urge as many people as possible to sign up and raise money for this great cause.”

All money raised by the public will be spent by Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives, both in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries.

If you are interested in taking part or would like more information please visit www.Sportrelief.com and search for the ‘Evreham Sports Centre Mile’.
