South Bucks District Council is giving a shout out to all Skateboarders, BMX riders and In-line Skaters of all ages to what promises to be a great Easter holiday Skate Week at Burnham Grammar School from 14th - 18th April.
Featuring an assortment of ramps, boxes and a flat bank on the school's large playground the event is an excellent opportunity for beginners and experienced skaters alike to take advantage of the skate facilities on offer and show off their tricks whilst keeping active over the Easter break!
Running from 10am until 4pm each day the Skate Week will include great music, competitions and prizes; all-day entertainment for just £3.50, payable on the day with no need to book! Helmets will be available to borrow and trained staff will be on hand to supervise the event and provide refreshments. Skate Week welcomes all those aged 18 and under, under 8's must be accompanied by an adult.
South Bucks District Councillor Shorne Tilbey, Portfolio Holder for Community stated, 'skateboarding is very popular in Burnham and so it is great to see young people provided with a safe and well staffed venue'.
