Denham Parish Neighbourhood Area
On 12th September 2017 South Bucks District Council approved Denham Parish Council's application to declare the whole of the Denham Parish Council area as a Neighbourhood Area. This followed the Parish Councils application on the 10th August 2017 to declare the entire Parish Area as a Neighbourhood Area. This is in accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations (Regulation 5A) which came into effect on 1st October 2016 requiring Local Planning Authorities to declare Neighbourhood Areas when a Parish Council applies to have their entire Parish declared as a Neighbourhood Area. This regulation also removes the requirement to consult on the Neighbourhood Area Application in these instances.
The declaration of a Neighbourhood Area means that Denham Parish Council can now prepare a Neighbourhood Plan for this area. Once adopted, a Neighbourhood Plan is used to determine planning applications in the area.
The Decision Report, Parish Map, and Area Application are available at the bottom of this page.
