Iver Neighbourhood Area
On 18th November 2016 South Bucks District Council modified the Iver Neighbourhood Area to cover the whole Parish Area. This followed the Parish Councils application on the 11th November 2016 to declare the entire Parish Area as a Neighbourhood Area and an amendment to the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations (Regulation 5A) which came into effect on 1st October 2016 requiring Local Planning Authorities to declare Neighbourhood Areas when a Parish Council applies to have their entire Parish declared as a Neighbourhood Area. This amendment also removes the requirement to consult on the Neighbourhood Area Application in these instances.
The previous Neighbourhood Area was declared on 24th May 2016 and excluded Pinewood Studios, more details are provided on the background page.
The declaration of a Neighbourhood Area means that Iver Parish Council can now prepare a Neighbourhood Plan for this area. Once adopted, a Neighbourhood Plan is used to determine planning applications in the area.
The Decision Report, Parish Map, and Area Application are available at the bottom of this page.
