Evidence Base

An evidence base is being prepared for the Chiltern and South Bucks Local Plan. Evidence base documents can be found below based on topic area. Please note: that the list of documents will continue to evolve over time, so it is worth checking this page for the most up-to-date information.

In addition to the documents on this website other relevant documents such as the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), National Planning Practice Guidance (NPPG), which are available nationally, and other Policy and County Council documents can form part of the evidence base.

The evidence base is sub-divided into the most relevant topic areas below.  Some evidence base documents have been superseded by subsequent documents.  Where documents have been superseded these are identified and retained in the evidence base for completeness. Where documents are to be added these documents are also identified; please note for these documents the indicative titles shown may differ to the title of the document when published.

Housing and Economic Development Needs Assessment (HEDNA)

Superseded documents:

* - The Consultation Draft Buckinghamshire Housing and Economic Development Needs Assessment (BHEDNA) and the Draft Central Buckinghamshire Housing and Economic Development Needs Assessment (CBHEDNA) have both been prepared in conjunction with Aylesbury Vale District Council (AVDC) and Wycombe District Council (WDC). The difference between the CBHEDNA and the BHEDNA is that BHEDNA includes South Bucks District following the decisions of Chiltern District Council and South Bucks District Council to undertake a joint Local Plan and review of the March 2015 Housing Market Area and Functional Economic Market Area definitions. The BHEDNA will also be updated at key plan-making stages to take account of any changes including expected future releases of new demographic information.
