Are you in an Abusive Relationship?

Is someone threatening you with violence or mental cruelty?

You can now talk to someone in confidence by calling the South Bucks & Slough Drop In centres on 0800 0852 654 between 10am and 2pm Monday to Friday (this number will not appear on the telephone bill).

The Drop In Centres are there to listen and provide help and support.

Two dedicated outreach workers have been appointed to run all three Drop-In Centres and offer outreach support where appropriate.

In conjunction with the Drop In Centres, specialist agencies will offer support when needed. They include housing advice, Victim Support, Women’s Aid Refuge support and Asian outreach services.

The aim of the Drop In Centres is to provide victims of domestic violence with appropriate services in the South Bucks and Slough areas. This will be achieved by:

  • Providing a private, confidential and gender neutral service that will make the victim feel safe and secure
  • Creating an environment of trust in which ongoing support can be provided to the victim and their family
Providing accurate and up to date information in a sensitive way
  • Providing good signposting to appropriate and specific professionals where needed

This is part of a two-year project for which the South Bucks Community Safety Partnership secured £75,000 funding from the Home Office.
