Councillor David Pepler was elected at the annual council meeting on 14 May 2019, having been Vice Chairman since May 2017
The role of Chairman is twofold. Firstly, as First Citizen of the District, Councillor Pepler will represent the Council at various events, functions and official engagements. Secondly, as Chairman, Councillor Pepler will chair the council meetings and conduct the council's deliberations, debates and decision-making.
He has been a District Councillor since 2011 representing the Burnham Lent Rise and Taplow Ward.
David is a member of the Healthy Communities Policy Advisory Group, Governance and Electoral Arrangements Committee and Licensing Committee.
David also sits on the Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust
David has lived in Burnham for 59 years and raised his family here. He is a Member of Burnham Parish Council having previously been its Chairman.
